Fremont, California: In a move that has shocked the Bay Area, and indeed the world, Tesla Founder and CEO Elon Musk has announced that, effective immediately, Tesla would no longer sell products to gay or bisexual men. In a statement to baffled reporters, Mr. Musk said that his decision was final, and that "the present environment around me and my company demands I take action."
When pressed for further comment on how such a seemingly progressive company in the California Bay Area, the heart of the LGBTQ+ rights movement, could institute such a policy, he said, "I'm not proud of this new policy, but this is the only way to keep men in their 20s and 30s from sucking my dick."

To heed the earlier Oppo post, THIS IS JUST MY PERSONAL OPINION... ;)
The thing is, yes, there's loads of fanboy leg humping & the equivalent hating on Jalopnik & elsewhere, but anyone who hasn't driven a Model S won't get how good it really is. I work on German cars for a living, and it makes the S-class, 7-series, and A8 look like dinosaurs. And I really like the A8, it's a great place to spend time.
There are several Model S's locally, and at least one that I know of makes a 240 mile round trip every day. The one I drove was driven 4 hours from the Bay Area, with only a lunch stop "splash" charge. The owner encouraged me to beat on it. I'm pretty jaded, but it was a real eye opener.
So long road trips aren't feasible (yet). Big deal. It's well engineered, safe, built in America and is completely usable, comfortable, spacious, fun & really fast in regular use. There is no good reason to bash it. And the technology it's using will be getting cheaper so mere mortals like us can have a piece of it. To me, it's a taste of an automotive future that doesn't really suck as much as the doom & gloom would have us believe.

You misunderstand. You obviously are not criticizing the car, and that was a great little spoof you put together. My reading comprehension is fine, thanks. I meant to respond to some other comments with regard to Jalopnik making an exception for the Model S about manual transmissions, etc, and it seemed easier to cover it by just responding to the original post. Sorry.
